Dennis, Tony, and Windsor reminisce about the first time they met and how Dennis' sponsor me video blew their minds. They also look over a couple of Dennis' video parts from Australia that you definitely haven't seen. Watching Dennis squirm as Tony fans out on him is pretty classic too. Go to youtube and search for "Northern Lights" and "Part & Parcel" to see his parts in their entirety.
Head on over to The Mag for a sneak peak of the September issue with Indy Team Pro Leo Romero on the cover + 20 page interview + Debut Indy ad.

Walker Ryan, Dave Abair, David Cole, and Ryan Harris all have ripping full parts in the new Shuffl video. They celebrated the Oakland premiere by renting out a house boat somewhere in SF. David added to the good times by testing out his new aqua board. Check it out.

Dir. Coan Nichols and Rick Charnoski (2009) 87 min.
Deathbowl to Downtown documents the shift in skateboarding primacy from the parks and the pools of sunny California in the 70s to the gritty streets of New York in the 1990's. This transition also foretells the recent hybrid uptake of skateboard culture in Harlem and other communities of color.

It's our pleasure here at Creature to present you with our newest limited offering by Eric Dressen. You can't deny the legend status that Dressen has carved for himself over the last 30 years, I mean, I guess you could but you'd be some sort of asshole. Eric's a busy guy, slinging ink and managing Yer Cheatin Heart Tattoo in LA, but we somehow managed to get him to bang out a graphic for us. These boards were handscreened and are limited to 300 pieces. Get in there Fiends, time to strike.
While up in Canada the other week Z.Y. Official's Brandon and Chaz sat down for a couple quick questions... and yes they are tired it was 9am and we had been up for 27 hours straight the day before.
Rune takes the cover with a back tail slide over a death box out in Salba's neighborhood. You need some 3D glasses to really check it out. Seems like alot of 3D hype going on. Its hard to look at the rest of the mag with the glasses on?
Check out the full coverage HERE.

Z.Y. Official Zered Bassett's part for the XGames Real Street Contest just dropped! Watch it below! Vote for Zered here! Read an interview with Zered about the making of his part here.
This past weekend we loaded up the van and headed to Baltimore for the CharmCity Skatepark stop of Gatorade's Free Flow tour. Sick contest and after we were through a ZOOBQ in the parking lot. Video coming later this week.
So this weekend I got a bit crazed and broke my clavicle and shattered a bit of my soul.. Lee mentioned it here.. thanks homie!
Guess what didn't get ruined though. My phone. My uncommon case made it through without a scratch. A good rule of thumb is to never be a dumbass but if you're going to why don't you at least hook yourself up with a case that will protect your phone whilst you act like a kook..
amped and want to learn more? Here's the spiel...

Made it up to LA to check out the X Games skatepark. No crowds and no contest. Just a practice session with Mountain, Hosoi, Hassan, Barros, Grosso, Rune, Bucky, Josh Borden and some others. The park was made for the contest out of concrete and skatelite. It even had some sort of visor/ wave design that was kind of limited but I'm sure it will look cool on t.v. Drinking beers skating the course, who would have imagined? Things will heat up more next week and along with the Xtreme crowds.

Walker has been premiering the Shuffl Video up and down the west coast and was kind enough to throw together an exclusive bonus trailer from the video. I checked out the Oakland premiere and this is definitely the best homie video to come out in a while. Make sure you check it when it becomes available in late July. You will not be disappointed. Also, Check back on Tuesday for some random shenanigans from our Oakland premiere trip.

Neil Blender's day of naming tricks are over. Nowadays everything is called what it is. Luckily we have Thomas doing alley oop wallrides rather than bs 180 fakie wallrides. Also, there is no such thing as a nollie half cab. Thomas proves that the kids are definitely doing alright.
Just got this press release from Sam Hitz:

Nuge always has a camera in his pocket ready to go. Here are some of his favorite clips he filmed over the last couple of years... He films lines too.
Navs and the dudes are headed up here on a vert mission and today's featured video is a full vert piece from our pike up at 3rd Lair. Man, you'd think that vert was like an actual viable part of skateboarding, thank goodness it's only a dream.
In other news, the Cranny Pack and it's available now (in the US, soon to be released in Australia). Unfortunately, I don't think the Cranny Pack itself can really hold a candle to the video about the Cranny Pack that Marty and Joe made. Lazers? Are we f*cking working at Lucas Ranch for christs sake?

Back when we were making Hesh Law there was a lot of late nights with the crew. P-stone was always part of the crew and the later it got, the more brews went down and that's when the magic really started to happen. One night the magic had reached a fever pitch and P-stone claimed he was going to make Gravette's part in 20 minutes. He went full Scorsese and made this beauty.
