RB Umali's pick for first place stood out as it demonstrated the "best use of matching the trick tempo to the rhythm of the song", as well as keeping the edit "nice and simple, nothing too choppy or graphic heavy."
The clip that came in as runner-up was selected because of its "nice and catchy transitions" as well as featuring a soundtrack that contrasted well between the parts and "didn't seem too sporadic."
This competition was judged by the one and only
RB Umali. Umali has been producing video's for over ten years, including Zoo York's State of Mind, Peep This and the UnbreakableMix Tape.
Thanks to everyone who entered, there was a massive response and a heap of really solid submissions!
Dennis has some mates out in the US for a couple months and he's doing everything to help them make it, from driving them around in hours of traffic to letting them crash on his couch. Walker Ryan was pretty eager to conquer some new terrain and the new North Hollywood street plaza was the perfect target. Dennis Durrant and Abdias Rivera came out too but I think they just wanted to be on TK's new TV show on BET. BGP's on BET!

This issue also sees the launch of the brand new masthead, designed by Acclaim's very own Art Director, PJ Smith. You may have noticed his design and layout changes over the last couple of issues but #21 takes it to a new level. We're digging the new direction, nice work PJ. There are three covers for this issue, check them out below.
Most of the Creature and Santa Cruz crew met in Newark NJ. The first day of the trip is always a good one. Perdium's spent on the plane, rental cars are not reserved and directions in a dirty city are always sketchy. Made it to the hotel with a few bumps and bloodstains and chicken wings and cold beer. More to come. Signing at NJ Skateshop and BBQ with Nieratko and other Jersey scum bags.
Nav's 5 hour flight. Where are the rest of the crew?
Nieratko hooked us up with a Hotel thats connected to Hooters:
