BELCO BOWL JAM - HIGHLIGHTS

The 2010 Nike SB Belco Bowl Jam was held over the weekend.Nearly 1000 spectators packed the stands to see some of the best bowl skaters in the world battle it out in one of Australia's most iconic skateparks, Belconnen bowl. The legendary Lance Mountain showed up and shredded with other pros who'd come from as far as Brazil (Otavio Neto), Italy (Daniel Cardone) and the USA.

The standard of skating throughout the event was amazing but the obvious highlight was the best trick contest held on the specially designed Creature Feature - a 2ft high curved extension that was placed over the Channel.

The crowd were kept entertained all night by Mike D's hilarious commentary and the very candid, on the spot interviews with the skaters by roving reporter Monkz.

WINNERS:
Lord of the Bowl - Nathan "Jimmy" Beck
Best Run - RJ Barbaro
Longest Grind / Slide - Lance Mountain
Best Local - Joel Webb
Best trick over the Creature Feature - Andrew Currie (back smith)
Best Slam - Kiernan Ironfield
