HOW I CAME UP WITH DENNIS DURRANT
Dennis, Tony, and Windsor reminisce about the first time they met and how Dennis' sponsor me video blew their minds. They also look over a couple of Dennis' video parts from Australia that you definitely haven't seen. Watching Dennis squirm as Tony fans out on him is pretty classic too. Go to youtube and search for "Northern Lights" and "Part & Parcel" to see his parts in their entirety.

Dir. Coan Nichols and Rick Charnoski (2009) 87 min.
Deathbowl to Downtown documents the shift in skateboarding primacy from the parks and the pools of sunny California in the 70s to the gritty streets of New York in the 1990's. This transition also foretells the recent hybrid uptake of skateboard culture in Harlem and other communities of color.

CREATURE x DRESSEN
It's our pleasure here at Creature to present you with our newest limited offering by Eric Dressen. You can't deny the legend status that Dressen has carved for himself over the last 30 years, I mean, I guess you could but you'd be some sort of asshole. Eric's a busy guy, slinging ink and managing Yer Cheatin Heart Tattoo in LA, but we somehow managed to get him to bang out a graphic for us. These boards were handscreened and are limited to 300 pieces. Get in there Fiends, time to strike.

NEW iPHONE CASES
So this weekend I got a bit crazed and broke my clavicle and shattered a bit of my soul.. Lee mentioned it here.. thanks homie!
Guess what didn't get ruined though. My phone. My uncommon case made it through without a scratch. A good rule of thumb is to never be a dumbass but if you're going to why don't you at least hook yourself up with a case that will protect your phone whilst you act like a kook..
amped and want to learn more? Here's the spiel...

X PRACTICE PRE HYPE
Made it up to LA to check out the X Games skatepark. No crowds and no contest. Just a practice session with Mountain, Hosoi, Hassan, Barros, Grosso, Rune, Bucky, Josh Borden and some others. The park was made for the contest out of concrete and skatelite. It even had some sort of visor/ wave design that was kind of limited but I'm sure it will look cool on t.v. Drinking beers skating the course, who would have imagined? Things will heat up more next week and along with the Xtreme crowds.

VERT SHMERT
Navs and the dudes are headed up here on a vert mission and today's featured video is a full vert piece from our pike up at 3rd Lair. Man, you'd think that vert was like an actual viable part of skateboarding, thank goodness it's only a dream.
In other news, the Cranny Pack and it's available now (in the US, soon to be released in Australia). Unfortunately, I don't think the Cranny Pack itself can really hold a candle to the video about the Cranny Pack that Marty and Joe made. Lazers? Are we f*cking working at Lucas Ranch for christs sake?

CHARIOTS OF GRAVECHIAN
Back when we were making Hesh Law there was a lot of late nights with the crew. P-stone was always part of the crew and the later it got, the more brews went down and that's when the magic really started to happen. One night the magic had reached a fever pitch and P-stone claimed he was going to make Gravette's part in 20 minutes. He went full Scorsese and made this beauty.
